Medical Students
The practice is involved in teaching 4th and 5th year Medical Students from the Peninsula Medical School. The PMS is based in Exeter and Plymouth and has a steadily growing intake of students who will become the doctors of the future. Students spend a number of weeks based in our practice and also in Sidmout Hospital. You may be asked if you are happy for a student to observe your consultation in the surgery. You are under no obligation to say yes to a medical student "sitting in" but we find that most of our patients are happy with a student observing the consultation.
