GP Partners Required - Sid Valley Practice, Sidmouth
Owing to the retirement of two of our partners, the Practice is seeking applications from doctors to fill a total of 17 available weekly sessions.
Applications are invited from individuals seeking between 4 and 9 sessions per week.
Key points for the Sid Valley Practice are;
• 14,300 patients
• Main and branch surgeries
• Community Hospital with GP beds and MIU
• Personal lists
• High QOF achievement
• Vision IT system
• Medical Student Teaching

The Practice in brief:
· Doctor team of currently 9 partners (7.5 whole time equivalent) running personal lists and 2 assistants.
· Operating from a main Health Centre and a purpose built Branch Surgery.
· 14,300 patients with nearly 40% over 65 years.
· Large numbers of temporary residents, mainly elderly, throughout the year.
· Fully computerised with Vision computer and paper light system using Docman.
· High level of patient care achieving near maximum QOF points.
· Teaching practice for the Peninsula Medical School.
· Large friendly team of 44 experienced nurses and receptionists.
· Community Nurse based in the Health Centre.
· Good local schools, lovely countryside and beaches.
