Chiropody
The Chiropody services are based in The Sidmouth Hospital and run by Russell Smith and Sue Pyle. The Treatment is available to the following groups.

High Priority
-Persons with diabetes mellitus assessed as having ‘at risk’ feet.
-Persons known to have severe peripheral vascular disease.
-Persons with acute infection of the whole or part of the foot which has required the prescription of antibiotics.
-Persons with painful, severe structural foot abnormalities.
All Other Applicants

-Persons with symptomatic conditions such as ingrowing toe nails and warts.
-Persons aged 65 and over requiring treatment for corns, callous and deformed nails.

-Persons aged 65 years and over who are registered partially sighted or blind.
-Persons of any age requiring foot care advice (are entitled to one consultation).
