The Physiotherapy Department
The Physiotherapy Department is situated in The Sidmouth Hospital site opposite the main entrance and 100 meters from the Health Centre. Referrals are normally made through your GP, and consultants from the RD&E. In respect of GP referrals, patients should allow 2 working days from the time of the referral before telephoning for an appointment on 01395 519917 between 9.00-12.00 Monday to Friday. The department treats most musculoskeletal disorders and offers advice of self help, posture and exercise. Normally an initial visit lasting an hour is carried out before a management plan is then offered.
